What information do we collect?
Name, address, business name, legal business entity name (that recorded with Companies House – if applicable), business and home telephone contacts · Email addresses· Registration: on some parts of the site we ask you to register, and if you do we ask for your name, email address, geographical address and other personal information
How do we use your information?
We use the information to help us understand more about how your web site is used, to improve your site, and to send you information about us and our products which we think may be of interest to you, both electronically or otherwise, you can remove yourself from the mailing list at any time by contacting your Technology Partrner Account Manager.
We also use the information to verify the identity of an individual, (for companies requested change, upgrades or for other amendments to agreements with us).
When do we share information?
We do not sell your personal information to others and we never will do so.
We may be required in law, to provide access to the data held on our Servers or back-up devices. Such data access is required by Law enforcement officials only when correct warrants are issued by the relevant authority in the pursuit of criminal investigation or national security.
Use of websites as reference material
We would like to share our success in hosting your website by showing other Customers and potential clients your site – this will be limited to your PUBLIC website pages only. If you do not wish your site to be used by Technology Partner for its’ marketing activities simply advise your Account Manager by email or in writing.
Administrative access to Services on our systems
In order to administer the systems for general house-keeping activities (back-up, virus scanning, capacity control and other non-specified administration tasks), it may be necessary for the Duty System Administrator, or another Technology Partner authorised person: to check, add, amend, validate, edit or remove items from our Servers and Services. Although we may need to access your email system, without your username and password, we cannot read your emails – for that reason, please keep your passwords confidential. We value your privacy and for that reason, passwords for email and secure areas on your hosted server should not be given to any other party – including us. If necessary, we can change your passwords and send you the notification securely. We will not access a Customer’s email account without their (or the customer’s authorised representative’s) express request to do so – this also requires the authorisation from a Technology Partner Director.
